To add a touch of whimsy to your wardrobe this winter, why not make this easy, playful beret styled like a button? The ‘holes’ and ‘threads’ are simple pieces sewn onto a straightforward beret after it is finished, making it a cinch to whip out – but there’s no reason you have to tell anyone else that.

Finished Measurements: “Button” is 11.5″ in diameter.

  • Lion Brand Wool-Ease [80% Acrylic, 20% Wool; 197yd/180m per 85g/3oz skein]; color: MC – Ranch Red (140 yds), Black (10 yds), White Frost (5 yds)
  • I/9 (5.50mm size) hook
  • H/8 (5.00mm size) hook
  • Tapestry Needle

Gauge: 12sts/7 rows = 4″/10cm in dc
