When you have a last-minute opportunity to go to the lake for the weekend, what do you do? Well, if you’re me you grab two balls of cotton and crochet a hat on the drive! Soft and shady with some nautical stripes, this bucket-style sunhat is simple and quick so you can get it finished and get on with your vacation!

Those two balls of cotton made both the Yacht Club Sunhat and the Knot a Lot Clutch, making them ideal projects to tuck in a bag when you’re trying to avoid excess baggage.

  1. I made this the other day and I did it with only a couple of color changes. It’s a little big for me and I might try it with an H hook some other time, but I’m sure I will find someone who can use it. If you want a picture – send me a note. Thanks for the pattern!
