Oh…that baby shower…is tonight? You don’t have to admit defeat! This simple little vest lets the yarn do the heavy lifting and lets you focus on crocheting – fast! This took 2 hours from the first chain to the last button (and I wasn’t even late to the party…)

Baby Shower Vest by Melissa MallFinishing:

  1. Align Front and Back; whipstitch together the bottom 10 rows.
  2. Rotate Shoulders (so rows run up and down and buttonholes are at back, towards the neck edge) and sew to Front.
  3. Sew the outside 2 rows of Shoulders to Back, leaving the buttonhole and a little past it free to open.
  4. Sew buttons to top of Back, matching them up to the buttonholes.
  5. Weave in all ends.
